ANOTHER LIFE: HUMAN FLOWS / UNKNOWN ODYSSEYS
A continuing crisis

The talk will discuss the large exhibition of MOMus-Thessaloniki Museum of Photography on the 2015-2016 refugee crisis, an exhibition presented in Thessaloniki (2016-2017), Athens (Athens Festival, 2018), Adelaide, Australia (Adelaide Festival, 2019). In this group exhibition, curated by Penelope Petsini and Hercules Papaioannoum 26 photographers contributed their work. Although the exhibition was planned at the peak of the 2016 crisis, the issues it brings forward are still vital, because of the continuing refugee flows, the new warfare and the broader geopolitical instability.
